The athletic fields and facilities improvement is another recently completed project. The swimming pool shell was recontoured to reduce the amount of water by 20% and reduce the use of chemicals by 25%. The pool opened August 2016, in time for the men’s and women’s water polo teams to complete their season.

The three athletic fields were completed during the Fall 2016 semester.  The baseball and softball fields underwent major renovations, while the soccer field was rebuilt in a new location.  The fields use synthetic turf, a water conservation measure that saves 1.5 million gallons of water each year, and reduces maintenance time by 75%.
