Pat Moeller was hired as an original member of the Nursing program in 1973 and retired in June 1993, after 20 years of dedicated and accomplished service. Upon her retirement, she was granted Emeritus status.
Pat played a significant role in the creation and development of the Ohlone College nursing program curriculum including the implementation of the first preceptorship. She worked tirelessly to promote an appreciation for the nursing profession and self-pride amongst her students.
Early in her tenure, Pat developed stress reduction and critical thinking elective courses for nursing students.
Pat maintained excellent community and professional relationships with nurse professionals in the bay area.
Pat demonstrated professionalism, creativity, sensitivity, integrity and excellence during her distinguished career.
