Jim Snell was hired as a full-time faculty member in August 1990, after many years as an adjunct instructor. He retired in August 2000, after ten years of full-time service. Upon his retirement, he was granted Emeritus status.
Jim established and coordinated the Police Officers Standards and Training (POST) certified curriculum. He was instrumental in facilitating Ohlone’s inclusion into the South Bay Regional Public Safety Training Consortium.
Jim played an important role in the enrollment growth of the Administration of Justice Program and the increase of adjunct instructors from three to 17.
Jim was a dedicated professional and provided solid leadership for the Administration of Justice Program.
