Whiteman, Phyllis: Administrative Secretary of Educational Services

Phyllis Whiteman was hired in July 1988 and retired in October 2002, after 14 years of loyal service.  Upon her retirement, she was granted Emeritus status.

Phyllis demonstrated dedication and commitment to the college, students, faculty, staff and programs of the college.

Phyllis assisted the Accreditation Liaison Officer with numerous details in arrangement during two accreditation site visits.  She took an active and professional role in supporting the Strategic Planning Committee and Course and Program Approval Committee.

Phyllis assisted in the coordination of professional development activities, ensuring catering arrangements and distribution of materials to the faculty, including workshops signups.  She coordinated and organized the collection, monitoring and tracking of faculty evaluations.  She also produced the weekly and bi-weekly bulletins.
